Heat comes from the sun in form of radiation. Radiation is a form of heat transfer from a body to the environment. It is similar to a heater which gives you heat even then when you don't touch it. We say that its radiating heat energy. The speed of heat transfer is similar to speed up of light as both accompany each other when coming from sun. The heat from the sun also takes 8 minutes to arrive on the earth
