Human population growth affects the extinction of other species greatly. When more humans are born in a short period of time which is known as overpopulation, they need more materials to consume like wood for making furniture by deforestation, meat by resting and killing cattle which wastes a lot of oxygen and results in soil erosion as the more the cattle the greater the consumption of grass known as overgrazing. Trees are cut down in a greater rate at which they can be replenished to make paper, more humans will mean more usage of natural exhaustable resources such as petrol, diesel, etc. Also more humans will mean more pollution of the environment.
