Answer:
The “ lub” is the first heart sound, commonly termed S1, and is caused by turbulence caused by the closure of mitral and tricuspid valves at the start of systole. The second sound,” dub” or S2, is caused by the closure of aortic and pulmonic valves, marking the end of systole.

❥︎How does lub dub sound in heartbeat indicate?
❥︎Solution:
Contraction of atrial chambers and then of ventricular chambers are 2 phases of systole. These two phases of systole can be heard as lub and dub sounds which are caused by the contraction of muscles and shutting down of valves.
•In the lub phase ,the ventricles contract and cuspid valves close.
•In the dub Phase, the pulmonary and aortic valves close.
hope it helps.
