AS U KNOW OIL DOESNT MIX UPBWITH WATER
so it create a barrier or a wall between the surrounding and water. the sunshine may got get inside the water which is essential many aquatic organisms abd it may also change the chemical properties of water which may cause to death of many aquatic orgamisms

YES,OF COURSE IT AFFECTS DIRECTLY TO THE SEA LIFE AND ALSO INDIRECTLY TO US BECAUSE WHEN IT EVAPORATES AND MAKES CLOUDS AND AFTER THAT IT RAINS IN THE FORM OF ACID RAIN. WHICH IS VERY HARMFUL TO US .
