Perspiration or sweating is a natural phenomenon that occurs in order to release excess water and also to regulate or maintain body temperature.It maintains body temperature in such a way that when evaporation occurs it causes cooling sensation and hence the body temperature remains maintained.

On a hot day our body perspires more and this sweat gets evaporated by taking heat from the body and our body keeps cool.
