i) Precipitation is condensed water vapor, those millions of water droplets up in the atmosphere, that falls back to the Earth from the clouds. The majority of precipitation occurs in the form of rain.

ii) Snow is formed when cold air freezes the water droplets into ice crystal.

Hope this helps you.

Heya!!

Here is your answer.

RAIN:-

✨Rain is the most important type of precipitation.Rain takes place when drops of liquid water fall from the clouds to the surface of the Earth.

✨Rain mainly occurs as showers or drizzles.A shower lasts for a short period of time and is usually made up of large heavy drops.A drizzle usually lasts longer and is made up of small, fine droplets of water.

✨Rainwater percolates into the ground. Most groundwater resources come from rain.

SNOW:-

✨Snow forms when temperatures are so low that water vapour directly turns into ice.

✨This happens as water condenses around an ice crystal. Snow falls to the Earth in the form of snowflakes. As snow falls to the ground, it often melts on the warm surface of the Earth.

✨If the surface of the Earth is cold enough, snow begins to pile up creating snow\:drifts.

⭐ Hope it's clear⭐
