Answer: The factories are responsible for realising of many air pollutants such as SO2 which mixes up with moisture in air and forms different acids.These acids again mixes with rain water and comes down to Earth as acid rain.The Taj Mahal is made with calcium carbonate which is broken down by acid rain.Thus, factories causes damage to the Taj Mahal.
