Hello mate.

thanks for asking this good question.

your\:answer\:is=>

according to Einstein's Photoelectric equation ,

Energy of photon varies with kinetic energy max. (K.E._{max}) and work function as =>

E = K.E._{max} + work function.

# E = Total energy of electron

# work function = minimum amount of energy required to liberate electron from metal surface

# K.E._{max}= amount of energy acquired by electron when emmited from metal surface.

hence , we can say that ,

 \boxed {K.E._{max}\:= \:E - work \:function}

To know More =>

[K.E._{max}=\:e{v_o}]

where , e = charge on electron

V_o =\: frequency \:of\:emmited\:electron

# hence , relation between KE maximum and work function is given in above boxed equation.

hope u understood ^_^

K.E ( kinetic energy ) = h ( f - f₀ )

           h ----- > plank's constant

           f₀ ------> Threshold frequency

           f --------> Frequency

------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

         h = 6.626 × 10⁻³⁴

         f₀ = 7× 10¹⁴ Hz

         f = 1 × 10¹⁵ Hz

K.E = (6.626 ×10⁻³⁴ ) ₓ [ (1 × 10¹⁵)  - (7× 10¹⁴)]

      = 1.987 × 10⁻¹⁹ J //
