Sound is nothing but waves which needs a medium to travel.
As a result when sound moves it travels through a medium due to which it's speed depends on the density of the medium.
I.E. (Because)
Speed of sound is directly proportional to density of medium.
As a result as the density of medium increase it's speed increases.
Therefore when sound travels through moist air it's speed increases because moist air is more denser than normal air.
hence, The speed of sound is affected when there is an increase in moisture.
