Brown vs Board of Education of Topeka, Kans case was planned by the U.S. Supreme Court in the year 1954.

As Linda Brown was black so she was denied in school's admission.

Combined with other cases her suit approached the Supreme Court that body in an opinion by recently appointed Chief Justice Earl Warren which broke with long tradition and unanimously overruled the "separate but equal" doctrine of Plessy v.

Ferguson for first time in public schools violated the rule of equal protection under law supported by the Fourteenth Amendment of U.S. Constitution.
