how evaporation causes cooling

Evaporation causes cooling because during evaporation the particle of the liquid absorbed energy from the surroundings to regain the energy lost during evaporation. The absorpbtion of heat from the surrounding makes the surrounding  cool.

because of the latent heat of evaporation it causes cooling
evaporation is processed below the boiling point
