Angiosperms : Seed-producing flowering plants whose seeds are enclosed within an ovary .They are enclosed inside an ovary, usually in a fruit.


Gymnosperms
Seed-producing non-flowering plants whose seeds are unenclosed or “naked.”
They arebare, not enclosed; found on scales, leaves or as cones

<> They are non flowering plants

<> They do not produce fruits

<>They are pollinated by the wind

<> Gymnosperms are divided into 4 categories : Ginkgophyta, Cycadophyta, Gnetophyta, and Coniferophyta.

Examples : Pinus , Cycas etc .....

<>The seeds are covered.

<> They are flowering plants

<>They produce fruits

<> Based on the number of cotyledon they are classified into 2 types :
Monocots [ 1 cotyledon]
Dicots [ 2 cotyledons ]
