how far natural and physical resources responsible for wars today?

As natural and physical resources are abundant everyone want to use them. But some people want them more and more. They want to maintanin supremacy over everyone. So they started wars for resources.

Natural & physical resources are limited and hard to produce even in thousand of years span but necessary to run the show in modern world causing battle over them to occupy the resources.
