Non Contact Force means a force which does not require physical contact for the force to act.

(Some forces, like the friction, acts only when the two bodies at least touch each other. So they are contact forces)

Gravitational force acts between two bodies, whether they are in physical contact or not. Thus, even though the two objects might be far away, gravitational force still acts between them.

So, we can say that gravitational force is a non contact force.
