Liberalisation of trade and investment policies has helped theglobalisation process by making foreign trade and investment easier. Earlier, several developing countries had placed barriers and restrictions on imports and investments from abroad to protect domestic production

Answer:

Removing barriers or restrictions set by the government is what is known as liberalisation. Liberalisation of foreign trade and foreign investments is what has helped in the process of Globalisation.

Liberalisation of foreign trade and foreign investments included removing the trade on imports. This encouraged many countries to export their products to India and MNCs started to come to India .

As a result goods, services, investments and technology were moving between countries. This is how Liberalisation of foreign trade and foreign investments helped in the process of Globalization.
