Because of the major cultural changes that re taking place in today's day, all our folk traditions are being heavily impacted. The changes that are that are taking place are mostly impacted by the modern ideologies. So when our generation and the ones before and after us are exposed to the modern culture all day, they would obviously find the folk traditions unnecessary and irrelevant.
