it is the phenomenon of reflection, refraction and dispersion of light .when Ray's of sunlight strikes the water droplets present in air it make droplets a spectrum and this form the seven constituent colour and forms a rainbow

tanya9540: it is formed by when light refracted when entering a water droplet of water, then reflected inside on the back of the drplet and refrqcted again when leaving it
kavy0: but in the middle of the droplet it is water and beside it it is Air so why not refraction
tanya9540: refraction knliye normal hona chaiye
kavy0: because it is changing its medium
tanya9540: no
kavy0: why
tanya9540: oohhoo
tanya9540: now i am losing my patience
kavy0: okkkkkkkk
tanya9540: hmmm

Answer:

  • A rainbow is caused by sunlight and atmospheric conditions.
  • Light enters a water droplet, slowing down and bending as it goes from air to denser water.
  • The light reflects off the inside of the droplet, separating into its component wavelengths--or colors.
  • When light exits the droplet, it makes a rainbow.

hope it helps you......❤️❤️
