Communalism is defined as a social organization on the communal basis and it can be a great threat to the unity of any country because of the following reasons -
-It hampers the personal growth of an individual.
-Everyone has to follow the central authority.
With these factors coming into light, the individuals have to blindly follow the central authority. People show little or no concern about the others as it is not going to affect them and the we-feeling is lost which is a threat to the unity of a nation

Hey,

It is not. Notice that China is unified despite being one of the biggest countries in the world, and the US is fractured by everything from class structures to racial prejudices to state-based stereotypes.

So,what is fatal to a country’s unity? Nationalism. Tribalsim. Rooting for your home team, both metaphorically and literally. this concept covers shipping wars to race wars. If you want a civilization to eat itself, Nationalism is your madness of choice.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU:-))
