Cyclopentanone on reduction with Na/H2O gives cyclopentanol.
(CH₂)₄CO + 2[H] --> (CH₂)₄CH-OH

This reaction takes place in basic medium.

This reduction can be possible by other reducing agents such as -
1) NaBH4 + H2O
2) acidified LiAlH4
3) H2/Pt
4) Sn/HCl
