The RTI, RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT allows the citizens of India to question and look into the decision making process of govts activities and practices.Any person by this act has the right to access into any information on the govts act.
The consumer act was enacted - COPRA.For instance a person lodges a complaint with adulterated food or defective goods or services sold to him and the seller wont take it back, this act gives him the right to get compensation from the seller.
-When movements and pressure groups exert their influence on the democratic govt, it responses effectively.Making it accountable and responsive.
-The decision making process may be delayed but is never denied.
-If any of your human rights are exploited, there are courts which work for these rights' upliftment.
