Irrigated Agriculture : Irrigation is the application of controlled amounts of water to plants at needed intervals. Irrigation helps grow agricultural crops, helps maintain landscapes, and helps revegetate disturbed soils in dry areas and during periods of inadequate rainfall.

This type of agriculture is mainly performed in the regions with wet winter season followed by a dry and hot summer season.
This agriculture mainly depends on the rain water harvesting.
On the other hand;
Irrigated agriculture:
This type of agriculture follows the scientific methods for water irrigation from the nearby water bodies (eg. Lake,pond,river etc.)
And this type of agriculture is very developed and has a excellent productivity,due to the scientific methods of water irrigation.
