The food is transported in plants with the help of transport tissues.

These transport tissues are -
1) Xylem.
2) Phloem.

Xylem transports the water which is absorbed from the plant roots.

While, phloem transports food which is made during the process of photosynthesis. And is stored in the leaves of the plants.
