how is the movement in plants different from that of animals

Movement on plants :-
* Plants show little movement and this movement is known as non locomotory.
* They move to obtain support, water, soil nutrients etc.
* They don't require muscles for movement.

Animals movement :-
* They show regular moveiand this is known as locomotory.
* They require movement to find food, for shelter etc.
* They require muscles for movement.

The plants grow till they alive but in animal after a specific age the growth will stop.
