Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the entha of stamen of a flower to the stigma of the carpel in the same flower or another flower of the same species.

On the other hand, fertilization occurs when the male gamete present in the Pollen Grain joints with the female gamete present in ovule to form a zygote.
