how is the tilling of soil inportant for the growth of plant?

It helps in the following ways:-
1) It breaks downs large pieces of soil into finer particles which helps in better soaking of water in soil and for planting seeds.
2) It brings up the nutrients present below the soil up so that the plants can get the necessary nutrients easily.
3) It also helps in the removal of weeds and undesirable roots.

Tilling of soil converts bigger chunks of soil into smaller. It loose the soil and thus provide aeration and water to plant easily. It makes it easy for farmers to add manures and fertilizers. It provide space for the germination of earthworm which makes soil fertile.
