The nitrogen in the amino acid becomes converted to ammonia, and this is further converted by the liver into urea, which is less toxic thanammonia to the body. The kidneys will then filter out the urea from the circulation, send it to the bladder along with water and excrete it in the form of urine.

this occur when hepatic portal vien brings deoxygenated blood from intestine to liver instead of heart excess of amino acids are converted to ammonia and then urea through urea cycle which further is removed by kidneys.
this all occur by hepatic portal system.
