Heyaa..

Let the cost of One table be x and cost of one chair be y

According to the question,

2 x + 3 y = 705 --------1

and

x = 40 + y

Now..

Substitute the value of y in equation 1

=> 2 ( 40 + y ) + 3 y = 705

=> 80 + 2 y + 3 y = 705

=> 80 + 5 y = 705

=> 5 y = 705 - 80

=> 5 y = 625

=> y = 625 / 5

=> y = 125

Cost of Table is 125 rupees

2 x + 3 y = 705

x = 705 - 3 y / 2

x = 705 - 3 × 125 / 2

x = 705 - 375 / 2

x = 330 / 2

=> x = 165

Cost of chair is 165 rupees

Sum of digits of cost of Table : 1 + 2 + 5 = 8
