There are 114 Surah in Qur'an.
Out of which, 86 are Makki (those which were send in Makkah) and 28 are Madni (those which were send in Madinah).
Makki Surah mainly deals with Tawheed and how to pray etc. whereas Madni Surah deals with Moashirat.
Moashirat means how to live with each other.. what to do and what to not.. how to behave with relatives neighbours etc.
