Amount= Mass/molar mass

Therefore, amounts of magnesium in 6g= mass of mg/molar mass of mg

= 6/24

= 0.25mol

Therefore 0.25 mol should produce how many grams in sodium

: Using formula above,

Mass of sodium= Amount* molar mass of sodium

= 0.25*23= 5.75g
