Answer:

There are three main levels of biodiversity in the biosphere are :-

  • Species diversity
  • Ecological diversity
  • Genetic diversity

(I) \large{\underline{\text{Species\:\: diversity :-}}} it occurs at the species level.

e.g. the Western ghats have a greater amphibian species diversity than the Eastern ghat.

(II) \large{\underline{\text{Ecological\:\: diversity :-}}} it occurs at the ecosystem level.

e.g. india for instance with its deserts, rain forests, mangroves, coral reefs, wetlands, etc. It has a biggest ecosystem diversity as compare to Scandinavian country like Norway.

(III) \large{\underline{\text{Genetic\:\: diversity :-}}}it occurs at the genetic level.

e.g different varieties of wheat, rice etc.
