Hello!
The brain is generally into three parts :
1) The Cerebrum - responsible for thinking, reasoning, memory, analogy, performing arithematic calculations etc.
2) The Cerebellum - responsible for the balance of the body and to keep it in the equilibrium with the help of message passed from Cerebrum and also controls the actions of all the kinds of muscles in our body.
3) the Medulla Oblongata - which connects the Spinal cord to the brain and also passes nerve impulses from brain to the spinal cord and vice a versa.
