How many teeth are there in any adult,s mouth ? write their types and function of each?

Adults have 32 teeth.
Incisors- For cutting or shearing food into small chewable pieces.
Canines - Function is to grip and tear food.
Molar - Function is to chew , crush and grind food.
Premolars - Their function is to tear and crush food.
There are 8 incisors, 4 canines, 8 molar and 8 premolar teeth.

There are a total of 32 teeth in number (according to the dental formula of permanent teeth).
Incisors: They are usually specialised for cutting and biting of the food.
Canines: They lie immediately behind the Incisors and have a similar function to incisor (cutting and nd biting of the food).
Promoters and molars: These are called cheek teeth which are broad, strong crushing teeth.
Third molars in human being are called wisdom teeth. The latter are vestigial in human beings.
