There are mainly two types of conducting tissue present in the plants, namely :
a. Xylem.
b. Phloem.

Xylem is a vascular and mechnaical tissue for water conducting and supporting tissue, in vascular plants. It conducts upward only.

Phloem contains tubes but has no function. It carries prepared food by plant to differvt parts.
