Answer:
Explanation:
Kondiba Gaikwad was a 25 year old blind man who used to beg on the streets of Mumbai. He lived in a slum colony in Ghatkopar, north-east of Mumbai called “Golibar”.
Kondiba went thrice in search of the young boy Arvind.
During his first dive, he initially remained floated on the surface and thereafter took a deep breath and dived inside the well. He soon reached the bottom of the well by carefully feeling and making movements along the rocks on the side of well. He could feel nothing except the slippery weeds and the mud.
He soon felt exhausted and ran out of breath. To regain his breath, he came to the surface.
During his second attempt he took another deep breath and dived into the muddy water. His previous attempt had given him a reasonable account of the shape of the well. So this time around he straightaway went down and tried to find out the bottom with the help of his hands. However it got slipped in the mud and got stuck.
He again came back to the surface as his lungs were on the verge of bursting. His duration under the water this time around was longer than the previous one.
Finally in his third attempt with great pain he succeeded in pulling out Arvind stuck in mud and weed with the help of the young boy`s belt.
Hope this helps.
