Answer:

we have 1 mole of H2O

1 mole of H2O will give one atom of O

H2O -->H2 +1/2 O2

charge on O= -2

O2- -->1/2 O2 +2e-

electricity required for the oxidation of 1 mole of H2O to O2= nF

(here,n=2)

=2 * 96487 coulomb

=192974 coulombs

=1.93 *10^5 coulombs

I hope it's helpful to you...

given..

we have 1mol of h20

1 mol of h20 will given 1 atom of 0

h20___^h2+1by 2 02

charge on o=_2

o2 =1by2 o2 +2e

electricity required of oxidation of 1 mole of h20 to 02 =nf

here n=2

=2×96487 coulombs

=192974 coulombs

=1.93×10 power 5coulombo
