Volume of a cone = (πr²h)/3

= [π4²(9)]/3

= 144π/3

= 48π cm3

48Πcm3=18Πin3

hope it help...

Answer:

Therefore, 27π in food can hold this container.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the radius of a cone = 3 in and height = 9 in

We have to find the how much food can this container hold.

That is we calculate volume of a cone.

Volume of a cone(v) = 1/3 (πr²h) -------(1)

Here 'r' is radius and 'h' is height

Now put the values of r, h in equation(1)

v = 1/3(πr²h)

v= \frac{1}{3}* (3)^{2} *9* π

v = 27π in

Therefore, 27π in food can hold this container.
