There is nothing much in the story. The message of the story is that we should not be greedy. In this poem Pahom has gathered a lot of money and also a lot of land but still wanted more and more land. At last when he was offered a chance by the bakhshirs to gain a large piece of land by walking as much he could but they also gave him a condition that he has to come back to his origin. Pahom was very greedy so he walked and walked. In the evening Pahom tried his best to reach the origin but he couldn't do so, he has failed to win the land walked by him the whole day. Pahom was very tired and he fainted on the ground. When Bhakshirs came to pick him he had died. At last Pahom required only a bit of land to burry him.
