Nepal is including provisions in their constitution and are time and again editing it to ensure that the rights of its citizens are safe guarded. They are making all necessary changes to ensure a total democracy.

since 2008 Nepal has not progressed much in terms of democracy. It is slowly changing. The national assembly is working fine. There were some elections held during 2013 which showed that democracy is gaining there. But the government is not totally relying on the national assembly.
The constitution is also not strong as other countries. The press and media are functioning good. The protection of human freedom and rights is to be improved still.
