how plant get their nutrition

Plants have the tendency to absorb nutrients and water through their roots. Photosynthesis is the process which creates the 'fuel' a plant requires. This process occurs in the leaves. So, plants have to get nutrients and  various fluids from the ground through the stem of the xylem and phloem and then to the stem which is later delivered to the leaves.

Hope it helped :D

Plants absorb nutrients and water through their roots as well as yhrough photosynthesis which is the process by which plants create their own food. It occurs in the leaves. Therefore, plants need to get fluids and nutrients from the ground up through their stems to their parts that are above ground level.
