Electron microscope enabled us to view the object 200 times more closer than a compound microscope. Earlier using compound microscope our study was limited to nucleus, cell membrane and cell wall only but by the discovery of electron microscope we came to know about cell organelles and their detailed structure and function. This helped us to study a cell better.
