how the displacement of a body is said to be negative or zero??

Displacement is zero if the body returns to its initial position and it is negative if the body travels to negative x axis direction

displacement is the shortest distance between the final and inital position. if body moves on a circular track so it's displacement would be 0 and when initial and final position are same.
