the nervous tissues are present in brain. A bony box known as cranium covers the brain. The brain is covered by three protective layers called meninges. The space between the meninges is filled with a fluid called cerebrospinal fluid. This fluid protects the brain against shocks and mechanical injuries. This fluid also maintains a constant pressure in and around the brain.
