Explanation:

According to him , an object when fall from a height and if we make the surface horizontol, it will try to reach its initial height (we are considering that there is no friction) . So now the object will move in a uniform motion on horizontal surface and u well know that there is no acceleration , then the force will also equals to 0.

plzz dont get confused that if we throw obj from height it will accelerate. it is true , bt we r talking about the motion of obj on horizontal plane so , the force will be 0
