velocity is the change in displacement per unit time .
e.g velocity = displacement /time

unit of displacement = metre
unit of time = second

so, unit of velocity = metre /sec = m/s

I think you want how to convert m/s to km/h or km/h to m/s. right ????

this is very easy ,
let you have given 18 km/h , then what is the value in m/s ???

we know ,
1 km = 1000 m
1 h = 3600 sec

so, 1 km/h = 1000/3600 = 5/18 m/s

use this

18 km/h = 18 × 5/18 = 5 m/s


similarly if question ask
convert 5 m/s to km/h

then,
multiply 18/5 to 5 m/s

5 × 18/5 = 18 km/h
