How to decrease intermolecular space between substances????

By bringing the molecules of the substance closer by applying pressure and decreasing the temperature.On applying pressure the particles come closer together decreasing the molecular space. For e.g.: LPG is gas which is liquefied under high pressure,dry ice which is formed by compressing carbon dioxide under very high pressure. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU..... :)
