The major difference between Ethene and Ethyne is : Ethene has double bonded carbon atoms whereas Ethyne has triple bonded carbon atoms.

Its very simple
Ene is refers for Alkene
And yne is refers for Alkyne.
Simple formula for Alkene is CnH2n
Simple formula for Alkyne is CnH2n-2.
And here we put the value of n. Where n is natural number. When we put n=2 in these formula then we get ethene and ethyne.
