how to do  \sqrt5 with help of long division method

therefore,5^1/2=2.236...
1)first,we have to take least square of a term to subtract from 5.it is 2^2=4.
2)after that,add quotient and divisor.
3)put a value after that and write it in quotient also and multiply that no. and new divisor.
4)follow the same process until the remainder becomes zero.
5)the final value in quotient is the square root of the given no.
