how to factorise x^-y^6

a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b) 
a^3 - b^3 = (a - b)(a^2 + ab + b^2) 
a^3 + b^3 = (a + b)(a^2 - ab + b^2) 

x^6 - y^6 
= (x^3)^2 - (y^3)^2 
= (x^3 + y^3)(x^3 - y^3) 
= (x + y)(x^2 - xy + y^2)(x - y)(x^2 + xy + y^2)
