Sulphate ion is bivalent anion (i.e. charge is -2) and is represented as SO4−2 and calcium ion is bivalent cation Ca+2 and by Crisscross method their formula is CaSO4 . Now ammonium is univalent cation given by NH4+ and hence by Crisscross method we get sulphate of ammonium formula as (NH4)2SO4
