225-1= 224
224-3= 221
221-5=216
216-7=209
209-9=200
200-11=189
189-13=176
176-15=161
161-17=144
144-19=125
125-21=104
104-23=81

Square root of 225 is 15

Explanation:

To find the square root of any number first we can go by eliminating the each and every perfect  square like shown below

2^{2} = 4

3^{2} = 9 and so on if we continue doing till 15 we get

15 ^{2} = 225

For suppose if we want to find a square root of  imperfect square like

Example:-

\sqrt{87}

First we will check the nearest perfect square that is \sqrt{81}

Now subtract 87 - 81 = 6

As \sqrt{81} = 9

We need double the 9 so we will get 18

Now we write the \sqrt{87} in the form of mixed fraction and we will solve

The mixed fraction = 9 \frac{6}{18} = 9.33

so, 9 is the perfect square of \sqrt{81}

    6 is the subtraction of 87-81

     and 18 is the double of 9
